Donezo Posted October 22, 2007 Posted October 22, 2007 I'll probably make a new set of predictions for all areas after we get the final word on Area D tonight. Quote

Fata1 Posted October 23, 2007 Posted October 23, 2007 From Area B: 1. Sherman 2. The Colony 3. Aledo 4. Centennial That's my guess. Quote

SerialSleeper90 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 haha we'll see. I'm pretty stoked about this weekend. Like I've been nervous during this week and the level of my nervousness is like that at other competitions. I have no idea how I'll feel down at the retreat at area. Quote
borchnork Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 yah, it doesn't help that I haven't seen them since I went to the HEB contest, and I know that both performances aren't true reflections of those band's true potential. Although, if Birdville was able to take on Seguin and place so much higher than them... who knows... Quote
Fata1 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Yeah, I'm sure we'd have been nervous too. Now that marching season is basically over for us, it takes a huge load off of me. The only thing I have to worry about now is making District, Region, Area, and State. Edit: All I know about Birdville and Seguin is that Seguin placed higher at Aledo than Birdville. I think. Quote
borchnork Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 yah, they did. Seguin 6th, Birdville 9th. Interesting Area B... very interesting. Quote
Tx_Band_Marcher08 Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Has anyone heard from region 9? Quote

riverfan Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Another twist: Birdville placed higher than seguin in finals at Aledo. I feel for yall at Southwest, its a shame the uil judges didn't let a good band advance. Good luck to Centennial and the rest of Area B in the contest on Saturday, I have a feeling it is going to be a long day... Anybody know what area Azle and Saginaw are in? They beat both Seguin and Birdville at our contest. Quote
riverfan Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 Well I think there is a great chance they both will reach state. Who else is in area a? Quote
ddmwingz Posted October 24, 2007 Posted October 24, 2007 not sure, but if you go to that area's website im sure you could figure it out Quote
