And I shall be there because I go to this school and have to work the competition ^_^.

Hopefully I don't get scheduled during the last block....that would suck <_ .>

Mansfield Legacy isn't going anymore.

That is where I tech.

Since it is outside the district or something dumb like that, the school won't pay for the busses. So it would have to come out of the pockets of the band parents, and that can't happen.

So. Haha.

Aww, Legacy isn't going? A shame, I was looking forward to their show....

At least I get to see the 3:45+ block....I'm a parking monitor for the equipment trucks from 1-3:45, so I'll have to bee-line it into the stadium to catch Falls at 3:45....

Man.....the Area C, Area D and Area F (? I think Langham's from F) champions from last year all gathered in a non-BOA/Non-UIL open ended venue.....not very often you see that.

It's like a fated convening of Gods or something......

Looks like a great line-up. A few heavy hitters in the last block with Cedar Park, Cypress Falls, Duncanville & Langham Creek. I saw all of the Cypress schools yesterday and they all looked and sounded great. I Hope Cypress Woods does well. They have a great show this year. I saw them at BOA Houston as well as Region 27 and I can't get enough of it.

And I have heard that Mansfield Legacy WILL be going once again thanks to generous donations for travel cost!

That's a nice story. Any idea where these donations came from?

Somebody pulled out earlier today....I didn't get to ask who it was but the Director of Bands here at Sam mentioned it at marching band practice this evening......

... are we doing a meetme event for this??

I will be there (top 50) for Finals and will be wearing a TXBands shirt if anybody wants to say hi.

All I know right now is that Cedar Park was first in prelims, Cy Falls came in second...from there I'm not sure, I wasn't paying attention, but I know Duncanville got like 4th or 5th which was really surprising.

I'm in my apartment right now getting some grub, getting ready to head back there and watch finals....I think Tomball goes first at 7 or 7:15.
