I've never done it but our band asks what is you favorite candy and Super hero. Of course grade instrument!! Oh its a great idea to ask if they are single or taken!!!!

The last question varies, but we've had favorite cereal, pokemon, dinosaur, candy, and other random things that I can't remember.

 

Although, we do get some humorous responses.

For example, whenever the person says they play flute, the trumpet section responds by shouting "I'M SORRY!"

 

Sounds like what our band does.

But its a clarinet players that say it.
