State Predictions???

Have you heard the show? It starts out with a major-esque type of song (kinda like "I've been working on the railroad" lol) and then it transitions into a kind of darker melod progression and then they mash it together.

I don't mean arranging the peace was difficult. I mean just trying to play it together cuz it may not have 'clicked' together like most peaces do.

They managed to pull a caption over all the 4a bands (including Round Rock, McNeil, Westwood, Georgetown, Akins...etc)

 

 

At Cap City we got 2nd place..first time in a while that we havent gotten first at that contset... we were beat out by a band that moved down a division

We got 1st in 3A. (size based on number in band, not HS) Here's a link: I know it says "2006" but it really is the 2007 results.

We had best overall general effect in entire contest, then outstanding colorguard and percussion in class.

Their show is very neat. It has a catchy hook. And some cool sets.

About 30 minutes North of McKinney. Which is like 45 minutes North of Dallas.

About 20 minutes from Oklahoma

about the mashing songs, I think it has a great effect as long as you execute it, we (boyd) did it in our closer and consequently, with something like 45% freshmen, it tore somewhat in the area finals, which is what probably kept us out of state or even alternate

I am not quite sure what the results will be at state. All of the contest results have been all over the place this whole season. so the only thing I can do is wait and see.

I am really excited to see all of the bands tomarrow, and I wish all of you the bast of luck!

I did my predictions earlier today. I honestly had no idea what to do. I ranked Poteet first and Dripping Springs pretty high. I know I had all Area B bands in finals. I can't wait for the results tomorrow.
