2007 UIL State 1A Prelims Results:

Shiner had a fun show called Lord of the Pirates made up of Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean.

 

Forsan was HUGE for a 1A band and they had a really nice clear sound. They had 120 kids on the field which is larger than many of the 3A's at State last year.

 

Electra reminded me of Jackson Academy in that they only had 30 kids and they did everything. They came out as just woodwinds and brass, but eventually went behind some large panels and the woodwinds came out with flags and guard uniforms and the brass came out as a full battery line.

That basically means that almost everyone in Forsan is in band because I think the cutoff of 1A schools is like in the low 200s, which means band people are really cool unlike most people thinking that band people sucks
