Lets talk about the bands that aren't in 1st or 2nd.

Bell and Marcus were outstanding, but they already have 5 threads!

 

 

Ok...Bowie had me dancing when they started the Overture to Candide in there show.

Cedar Park made me SMILE.

Haha, aside from Marcus and Bell, I really enjoyed Churchill. That show was absolutely beautiful. The silence after Amazing Grace to let the guard work their magic was incredible.

 

I also enjoyed Haltom's closer. Actually, there wasn't much I didn't enjoy. The whole night was awesome.

Winston Churchill stole my heart and my tear ducts and ripped them open. I loved it.

 

I sang along to the closer of Cedar Park's show. It makes me smile!!!!! :-D

 

hmmm......Also, I liked Whitesboro. I think they were "overlooked" b/c they performed after Marcus in Pre-lims but I liked Canon and the guitar player can Play!!!

 

I also like Lewisville H.S. and once again another version of soulja boi.

Hebron, Lewisville, The Colony, and Marcus are all in the same School District.

My favorite performance last night behind Bell was Churchill. I'm not one for patriotic or memorial shows or whatever because they always seem to turn out kind of cheesy but what Churchill did on Saturday was beautiful. After Churchill and besides Marcus, I really liked The Woodlands, Richland, and Westfield. The preshow Euphonium (I think) solo was pretty cool. I need to rewatch Bowie's show. By the time Bowie came on I was getting impatient for the results and wasn't paying enough attention.

I don't about yall but Brazoswood definantly gave me extreme chills at the beginning of their show, though I don't think all that jazzy stuff really fit. I still enjoyed it.

umm... what show did Cedar Park do? I didn't get to make finals this year because of a stupid football game...

Like everyone else, Cedar Park made me smile! Churchill's version of Bartok was awesome. Bowie had a monstorous sound and Westfield had a great pre-show!

 

All of the advancing bands were excellent.

I really enjoy watching Richland's show.

 

And I REALLY wanted to see Churchill. I heard the show is beautiful.

Does anyone know why Churchill isn't going to GN this year?
