Well there is a Scholastic class, which is divided into 3 different classes A, Open, World Class and he was just wondering which high schools are attending and in what class...:)

So far I know of these groups going to WGI Championships...

 

Code Black (World Class)

Cypress Falls (World Class)

Oak Ridge (Open Class)

Marcus (Open Class, haven't heard but assuming they will go)

Americas (Open Class)

Langham Springs (Ind. A Class) (langham creek & cypress springs)

OUr guard is planning on going next year.

 

when they do, look out. Brian Greenleaf is our guard director, and for you guard junkies, you know that he consecutively had world championship winter guards. :D;)

I kind of wish that WGI Percussion had a larger presence in Texas. We have a couple of great Independent and Scholastic lines, but for some reason, WGI Percussion hasn't really caught on in the State of Texas. We have one WGI Percussion Regional that has not had very good attendance recently.

 

Correction:

There is no WGI Percussion Regional in the State of Texas for 2008 =(

yea WGI isnt that big here but the big thing is the TCGC circuit but most of the lines that compete arnt that big into winter drumline and the really good lines usually end up going to dayton anywyas
