Band trip free time?

i know that on most trips, like BOA san antonio, there's not much free time for the

band directors to think of something to do;

but

{i was just trying to think of what we would be doing if we had an extra day during GN such as if we had a

thursday prelims time...}

what would you want your band to do?

I never had much free time at Grand Nationals, but when I did, I loved walking around and viewing all of the exhibits in the concourse area. Think of it as a mini version of a TMEA or Midwest Convention just before you hit the seats.
