SerialSleeper90 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 (edited) You are correct sir. You know I've been wondering what bell is gonna do now the trilogy is over. I just can't see them doing something that's not so haunting. lol It be funny if they decided to do a Marcus type of show. Edited November 28, 2007 by SerialSleeper90 Quote
bonepit06-07 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 only time will tell what they will end up doing im sure they have something up there sleeve though Quote
JustAddWat3r Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 so a trilogy is a 3 part show... what would a 2 part show be called? or a 4 part show? a bilogy? quadlogy? Quote

If Bell did a cheery and happy show like Marcus, it would be so weird. I've gotten to the point where I associate the L.D. Bell band with creepy haunting but flipping awesome at the same time. Whatever path they decide to take, though, I'm sure they'll do amazing again. Edited November 29, 2007 by Fata1 Quote

SerialSleeper90 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Haha I went to a Lewisville elementary school that would have fed into LHS. After 7 years I actually recognized one of their snares and he remembered me. It was heart warming. lol. They sure did crank dat this year. I really liked their imogen part as well. Heck I loved every band that incorporated Imogen into their show. Quote
bonepit06-07 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 im a big nerd but the word imogen doesnt sound familiar explain please. Quote
SerialSleeper90 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 (edited) lol. Imogen Heap is a singer. I think she's also known as Frou Frou (correct me if I'm wrong). Bands that I know of that had Imogen Heap in their show: Lewisville Mansfield Mansfield Timberview (I think) and one more...but I can't recall. Edited November 29, 2007 by SerialSleeper90 Quote
thePIXELelement Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Yes we did perform an arrangement of her song "Have You Got It In You" and Frou Frou is a duo composed of Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth of which Mansfield HS performed an arrangement of arguably their most popular song "Let Go" Quote

ZOMG YOU FORGOT THE WOODLANDS !!! they had an awesome show last year Quote
SerialSleeper90 Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Hahaha I was gonna mention the woodlands but I thought I'd leave it to this year. I know they were the original band to use Imogen... i think? Quote

One of my favorites along with The Moment I Said it, Speeding Cars, and Hide and Seek. After The Woodlands did Hide and Seek in 2006 for their show, the band warmed up and stretched out to Imogen Heap's music during their rehearsals this year. Here's a video of the band warming up to The Moment I Said It. It's pretty neat. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljn6jPEpNNo Quote

Donezo Posted November 29, 2007 Posted November 29, 2007 Area B 3A is also super stacked. It contains 2006 state gold and silver medalists Canton and Wills Point and 5th place finalist Argyle. Talk about intense. I'm really interested to see what The Woodlands will do next year. They have gone to GN the past three 5A state years, but this year could possibly mark the end of that system (unless they go three times in a row.) I wonder if they will do something a bit more conservative geared towards a high placement in state finals (a la Reagan 2006) after not making it with the "Hide and Seek" show. Quote
whitewing09 Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 for 3A area E is the next strongest after area B too bad we're not as stack i think Rio Hondo and Crystal City made 3rd and 4th Quote
