Amateur Candid Videos

Here are three videos put up by a fellow Georgetown Drumline Member. This was at one of the last games.

 

this video is of Jacob(bass 5/one in glasses) and Trey(snare/blonde) singing the Load the Truck song. We are all really unenthusiastic about loading our truck of all equipment every game and competition so Jacob came up with the Load the Truck song (there is also the Unload the Truck song for after games/competitions)

 

 

This one isnt anything really, you see 3 of our band directors, Mr. Rabon, Ms. Marino, and Mr. Pape, and some of the drumline changing lol. My boyfriend is the one with long hair that he says something to Trey(who's filming) and Trey says, "huh?"

 

 

This is basically what happens EVERY game/competition. That is our percussion director Mr. Pape basically telling us to get to work and unload the truck/put on our uniforms. Some of this is me arguring with him about "throwing my pants on the ground EVEN THOUGH I only did it to go unload the truck LIKE HE ASKED" lol. You can't really hear me, you hear me say, "Mr. PAPPEEE" and "Well, I WOULD be unloading the truck!" but you hear his response of "THIS IS YOUR FAULT. YOU WILL NOT WIN THIS CONVERSATION"

Thanks Erica, Quick update on our indoor show: we got 1st at TCGC Hendrickson Tyler was there also with a few works of encouragement. It was a really fun show... i'll get the video up soon.

If you have 25ish minutes to spare, here's a link to the GDYO Wind Symphony combined with the Dallas Wind Symphony playing Maslanka's 4th symphony. This was from 2006. The whole piece was prepared in two rehearsals! Single greatest piece I've ever played.
