All Region Percussion

For those of you who have had your region, I'm curious as to how stiff the competition was for drummers.

 

Mine was not that bad at all; there were a lot of people who didn't play half the etudes.

I have one of the toughest regions for 5A. Everyone was good

Are you talking about first round, or second round?

i didn't make it to second round so...i didn't play like TERRIBLE, but i didn't play great. I got 13th ot of the like 40 in my room.

7 was fairly easy...not a lot of competition...Aledo was surprisingly absent...as were us poor folks at Paschal (the majority of us don't care).

 

Western Hills dominated.

Our percussion wasn't very competative... well at least to me it didn't seem like they. They weren't as good as I would of expected them to be.

I'm in region 2 so are only real competition was Keller, Fossil Ridge, and Denton

 

Amazingly, there were like 89 people there and most of them were just there to get their letter jacket. Listening to one note being played got quite annoying after a while.
