I mean, I know the results but anything happening like drama? lol I couldve done the night shift but I was simply too exhausted from Region S&E Quote
radchad Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 As far as drama on the floor goes, there really wasn't anything to report. :] It was a fun and very competitive regional. We took first place in the Independent A class. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted February 25, 2008 Posted February 25, 2008 there is always freakin drama with our silly guard. this week want as bad as austin but i had to get on to people being stupid and jacking around with floor... man i love that rope that hangs from the ceiling in the gym were people keep the floors, some people were going insane on that thing(running up and down the walls and stuff)... anyways... i think i might be at aledo but who knows... I think i saw you there jacob, i was the one who tried climbing the rope during prelims sometime but couldn't quite reach the top. And i am still sore from it too... oh no...did you try to climb that rope? I knew the wrestling dept. needed to take that off before you guys came. Quote
radchad Posted February 27, 2008 Posted February 27, 2008 There was a point when me and my friends were acting like George of the Jungle. It was funny. Quote
borchnork Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 Who's going to be at the contest at James Bowie next Friday? Quote
crazyjakeup Posted February 28, 2008 Posted February 28, 2008 i remember a couple of years back when we had championships at SGP when they had a bunch if pads and stuff that you could jump and flip on and off of... that was fun, it was like i was a little kid again... ... i might go to the bowie contest. i know my gf will be helping south garlands guard, so if i get invited along i will go... theres a creepy story about the rowlett-bowie hs connection... i was googling my name one day and i came across (arlington)bowie hs' band page. come to find out that there was a jacob silva (thats my name) who played trumpet(my horn) who played in that band a few years earler. but what was even more crazy was that he had a brother 2 years under him who played trombone(just like my brother who is 2 years under me and plays trombone) and his name was joshua silva(thats my brothers name)... ... We went there for Championships last year. That night was a night of this HUGE storm and the power kept going out in the gym, and actually from what I understand a guard that went in the first hour ended up having the music cut off on them because the power went out, but they continued their show. All they did was just count through their work. I think they won their division if I remember correctly... Quote

We always went on RIGHT after them, so I never got to see it. We were standing outside and I heard them counting, though. Quote

After that night helping out...my A/C compressor kept acting up until June when it decided to BLOW up. Im going to send an email to that wrestling coach to take off that rope for Championships lol, for some reason that still bothers me lol Quote
crazyjakeup Posted March 1, 2008 Posted March 1, 2008 NO!!!you will upset a lot of childish people... Quote
borchnork Posted March 8, 2008 Posted March 8, 2008 Our first competition in Scholastic AA Was yesterday and we made 4th!!! YAY! We had a .2 point penalty for taking to long to put out our floor, but if we didn't have the penalty we would have tied for third! Quote
borchnork Posted March 9, 2008 Posted March 9, 2008 crazyjakeup said: stupid floor crew...lol... haha, yah... we couldn't figure out how to turn the floor so that it would open up correctly. that's what took us too long. Quote
crazyjakeup Posted March 10, 2008 Posted March 10, 2008 it happens though... once we opened the floor with the top on the bottom... good thing it was only at practice... Quote
