Xenon
I'm with you on that one buddy. Owasso last attended the San Antonio Super Regional in 2004, placing 3rd in Finals. Loveland last attended the San Antonio Super Regional in 2006, capturing the Class AA Title. Both performances were fun to watch and I can assure you that our stuff went nuts for them each time they stepped on the field. Loveland's show was one of my favorites of that year. Beautifully done all around and the battery was amazing.

Danpod
Quick updates to the schedule list: - The Fall Preview Experience at James Bowie H.S. is now on the list. There is no link to the list of programs attending just yet. - The El Paso Regional is now up to five programs. I hope this show is not on the chopping block. - The Arlington Regional is up to 22 programs. - Legacy H.S. from Texas will be attending the Fall Preview Experience in Tulsa, OK. I'm assuming this is Mansfield Legacy. Someone please confirm this for us. - The San Antonio Super Regional is now up to 56 programs. That's more than last year. Yikes! lhstrumpet
Leander is going to Arlington and San Antonio! Usually it's every other year, but this is an amazing exception!
rpd
Awesome. Were in BOA Arlington and San Antonio. I don't think we have done BOA since 1993.
treblemaker
Awesome. Were in BOA Arlington and San Antonio. I don't think we have done BOA since 1993. Then you are in for a real exciting year. I love BOAs. "]
Salas
Awesome. Were in BOA Arlington and San Antonio. I don't think we have done BOA since 1993. If I'm not mistaken, Marshall was at BOA San Antonio in 1998. Edited June 18, 2008 by Salas
rpd
If I'm not mistaken, Marshall was at BOA San Antonio in 1998. Its a possibility. I remember checking a website that had the results to almost every regional in BOA history. And I don't remember us in any regional past '93. Of course this is an easy thing to miss I'm sure. Regardless, its been awhile and I'm excited.
actualgirltrombone
I'm SO SO SO excited that CP is going to Arlington instead of the usual local band competition, it'll be nice to get some critique and see what everyone else is doing. I'm SOOO excited to see Marcus. And also to go to Arlington, cause we havent been there in 4 years or so.

Salas
I'm at work looking at the updated list. Here's some quick thoughts: 1. The El Paso Regional is no longer taking place. I REPEAT, the El Paso Regional is no longer taking place. 2. Ronald Reagan High School from San Antonio has pulled out of the Houston (Pearland) Regional. 3. The Woodlands High School has decided not to attend the San Antonio Super Regional. I don't know, folks. This season is already full of surprises!!! takigan
What I find to be most surprising is that we nearly have a full roster for San Antonio, even after taking into account that this is a 5A state year and gas prices are through the roof! The roster usually coasts in the 40-range on State years....to see it nearly maxed out isn't unprecedented but it's highly unusual. ftwdrummer
So...revised fast predictions for Arlington (correct me on any of these if I'm wrong): Guaranteed Finals Bands: Marcus Hebron Coppell Berkner Cedar Park Colleyville Heritage Any others to add to that list, of schools that will make finals, no matter what? treblemaker
I find it odd that we still aren't on the lists because we are supposed to go to Arlington and San Antonio according to our calender and when it's released to us it is set in stone. Oh well.
ftwdrummer
BOA is weird. We signed up for Arlington around June of last year, and didn't get on the lists until they published time slots the week before.

I wouldn't say guaranteed, anything can help for example Brazoswood 07 (BOA Houston) Cedar Park 05 (BOA San Antonio) and Hebron 07 (BOA Arlington)
urkadrums
Why is BOA San Antonio on Halloween? :[ AND since its a friday, OF COURSE our school has to go back to Georgetown for a football game, after we perform. The result is, no halloween. :[

urkadrums
Whole band trick-or-treating. You already have the costumes. . . Our "costumes" are very much power ranger/star trek. Not my thing . I was hoping for something different than the band uniform i wear 1-2 days a week lol.
