treblemaker Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 I'm pretty sure Leander didn't submit a tape so you can scratch them off. :] Quote

treblemaker Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 Haha! You actually crossed us off. :] If you heard us you would understand. It wasn't one of our better years. All good though. Quote
Horns83 Posted June 9, 2008 Posted June 9, 2008 (edited) Ok. For Region 13, all I know is SFA came in 3rd. Based on that, I would assume that Clements and Dulles advanced out of that region. Edited June 10, 2008 by Horns83 Quote
the terminator Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 just wondering who else is part of area a Quote

MaverickBand15 Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 dont forget McNeil in those listings for Area D! I am pretty sure we submitted tapes. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted June 10, 2008 Posted June 10, 2008 Ah, I'm a little sad that Hebron didn't advance out of the Region. But then again, when you got Flower Mound and Marcus in the same region, it's pretty much impossible to get out of it. Quote
JediSaxSolis Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 So all area judging contests have to be complete before June 30th? I'm interested, Xenon, where are you getting all these results so quickly? Quote
the terminator Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 still no news about the other big 3A's like Argyle, Canton, and Wills Point Quote

sax5warrior Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 aww. i just found this today. Oh well. It was good while it lasted. At least we're "ranked". Quote
takigan Posted June 11, 2008 Posted June 11, 2008 (edited) Area D is going to have some strong bands in competition. Though Region 8 doesn't have any powerhouses, Region 9 has the Woodlands duo (HS and CP) plus Spring (who I believe is a former State Honor Band.....if not I know they've come close, they consistently make it all the way to state finals at these things every time they compete). Region 20 has Coppell and Duncanville.....and all bets are off on Duncanville; you can count on them taking the first spot for sure. So there's only one spot for the rest of 'em . Region 26 will most likely put out Georgetown ('00 State Finalist, '02 Region champions, '06 Region runner up) and even MORE likely Cedar Park (who's the defending Regional champion from '06). Same story as last year it looks like (EDIT: er.....2 years ago). Where are Churchill and Reagan in all of this?.....I'm guessing they're in a different Area for TMEA since I don't see them on the chart for D. Edited June 11, 2008 by takigan Quote

the terminator Posted June 12, 2008 Posted June 12, 2008 hmm interesting results from region 3, I guess Canton is only good at marching, I expected Royse City to be good, and not that good, and as for Wills Point I think we can definately beat them, considering we shocked them this year in Little Elm Quote
