2008 DCI Texas

I will be at the top of Section D tomorrow night in Dallas and will be wearing my black TxBands shirt. If tradition holds, there will probably be a group of people getting together at the bottom of the 50 at the end of the show.

I am pretty sure that Danpod, mbui, salas, and I at the very least will be in San Antonio this weekend.

I'll be there. Just look for the handsome, sunburned gentleman. Salas and Mike will be in the upper deck. Sanchez and I will be on the lower deck, yet in different sections. If you see us walking around, stop us and say hi!

Bold predictions for DCI Southwestern:

 

1. The Crossmen will make the night show. I watched their rehearsal last night and they are definitely working it.

2. I'm anticipating some big separation tonight, especially with the top three or four.

3. With a solid performance in the night show, I see the Blue Stars passing up the Boston Crusaders.

4. War The Blue Devils for the win by .8

I saw you! But I didn't realize that is was you until I had already passed you. I think it was during intermission in the morning block. You looked like a man on a mission. :]

Hahaha! I certainly was on a mission; I had to go get something to drink before the concession lines got way too long!

Thinking back now I think you had a water or something in your hand and you were nodding and smiling at people as they walked by. It made makes me smile when people do that. haha.

Yep, that was me! I've always been a shy introvert in real life (internet is a whole different world) and I've been actively trying to overcome that. The acknowledgment of everyone around me is a big tool in that along with making sure to talk with everybody sitting around me in the stands.
