It seems like they used to be pretty competitive in 4A marching. I am surprised that Wylie, Lake Highlands and Poteet are not on there. Glenn Fugett, former director of Westlake, current director of Legacy, is not just a DCI "judge". Yes, he does some judging, but he is the Percussion Chairman for DCI. And as his student, I have to say I disagree that "it gets to his head like crazy." He is a very creative, modern, and innovative band director. The man knows his stuff.. and that is going to take Legacy a long way. I wasn't trying to knock him or anything. It was more of, the best of the best have to have that slight ego. Kerry Taylor has been our head director since 1989.
