There's no way you could pull off having half of the band play when a judge is walking around listening to each player...unless you had them in horns down position or something Quote

borchnork Posted October 13, 2008 Posted October 13, 2008 although, a band with more members can have more shadows. I know one thing that always hurt us was kids who failed and not having enough shadows to replace them. A larger band wouldn't have those problems... Quote

But a smaller band may have to use more of their people and not have as many "spares" to plug into empty holes, as say a larger band with 30 people on JV. Quote
