TRtrumpet Posted August 28, 2005 Posted August 28, 2005 Last year we had a drumline of about 15, which was huge for us kus our band was about 30 pple, but this year we have a nice solid 10 with about 35-40 winds. Quote
Cru4you Posted August 30, 2005 Posted August 30, 2005 last year....3 snares 2 tenors 4 basses 2 cymbals Quote
Moose Posted August 31, 2005 Posted August 31, 2005 Seguin High 2005 - 5 snares, 3 tenors, 6 basses, and 6 cymbals and like 17 pit. Quote
Keyboard_Countessa Posted September 2, 2005 Posted September 2, 2005 Our drumline is shrinking! My freshman year we had almost 30 people, but now (my senior year) we're down to 21: 2 tenors, 4 snares, 5 basses, 10 pit (including 3 double reed players). We haven't had a real cymbal line since I was a sophomore, so they have the pit play cymbals at pep rallies and in the stands. Quote
Gltokensp06 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 Varsity:7 snares, 4 tenors, 6 basses, 7 cymbals, 15 pit JV: 4 snares, 2 tenors, 5 basses Quote
mnkyman Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 ^...nice one there 2005 - we know but u dont.lol whos in the jv drumline..?...i see them and they all look like middle schoolers Quote
Gltokensp06 Posted September 3, 2005 Posted September 3, 2005 they are essentially their name. The kids in JV have their own drumline completly seperate from ours. At competitions they'll be the ones working electronics, well ovbiously not all of them but at games they go down a play for the crowd while were in the stands playing for the team. WOOO GO STANGS FOOTBALL!! No.1 in houston area, No.2 in state!! Quote
Clarinot Posted September 4, 2005 Posted September 4, 2005 Hm JV drumline... so are they different from front ensemble? Quote

EODrillDesigner98 Posted September 23, 2005 Posted September 23, 2005 At Fontana High School Drumline size used to be Snare 3 Tenor 1 Basses 5 Cymbals 2 Front Ensemble 10 Unforunately I dont know what this Fall size is due that I'm not teaching this fall at all. Quote
Lustra.exe Posted September 25, 2005 Posted September 25, 2005 the max a 4A line should be: 5 snares 3 tenors 5 basses 5 cymbals 18 pit i personally think we should have 4 snares and 2 tenors but its not up to me . Quote
