Yeah, it doesn't necessarily have to be pointed out in a thread discussing a contest. You could have simply messaged the user if it bothered you.

I'd like to know what more people think of Cypress Falls, Brazoswood, Spring, L.D. Bell and the Woodlands. I like those bands alot. But the moment I start asking people what they think of the SHSU Bearkat Marching Band or my alma mater; old Gee town high school, I want you all to flame me. It's just bad taste .

There is nothing wrong with asking what people thought of your performance.
