Xenon Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 This test will tell you how good you are at being able to distinguish pitches: http://tonometric.com/adaptivepitch/ My results were: 87th Percentile. 0.6375hz differential. What do you get? Quote
lhsbmb Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 (edited) 74th Percentile. 1.05 Hz. Edited October 19, 2008 by lhsbmb Quote
takigan Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 0.09375 HZ (99.9th percentile) I was able to pull the pitch difference all the way down to "undefined HZ" a couple times....I don't know if the program just wasn't capable of playing any pitches that were closer together than that or I just couldn't hear it because I couldn't get any of them right at that pitch level. b_sax_agent Posted October 19, 2008 Posted October 19, 2008 0.0175 hz. 99.99 % The last two were hard. Quote
borchnork Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 42 Percentile. 3 Hz difference. Prolly has something to do with the fact that I was trying to listen to the tv at the same time. lol. Quote
borchnork Posted October 20, 2008 Posted October 20, 2008 Sorry for the double post, but you should also definitely check out the music and visual correlation test. THAT was tricky, and I missed like the first 4 cus I had no idea how to figure it out, but after a bit I got the hang of it. I ended up getting a 90% Overall. 88.4% on pitch discrimination, 91.0% on musical memory, 89.2% on contour discrimination, 89.2% on attention and 85.3% on Music/visual abstraction. Quote
Fata1 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I got 0.24375 Hz and I'm in the 99.1st percentile. I find it interesting that when I took the test right after getting home from rehearsal, my score increased dramatically. Quote
