Lustra.exe Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 hahaha. it was alright. really corny in some parts. pretty good in others. i'd give it a B Quote
Xenon Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 Never having read the books, I thought it was really good. Except for all the raving 14yo girls screaming and giggling every time Edward or Jacob came on the screen. . . . . Quote
Danpod Posted November 24, 2008 Posted November 24, 2008 I'm anxious to see the movie. I was reluctant to read the novel but I enjoyed it nonetheless. In the novel, the giddiness is much more subdued and internalized. Think more along the lines of being left breathless with your heart pounding, rather than giggling like a fool. Quote

borchnork Posted November 24, 2008 Author Posted November 24, 2008 hey, I find nothing wrong with it. These books are addicting... Not good, just addicting. lol. And surprisingly, in the now three times I've seen the movie, the little teenage girls were DEAD silent the ENTIRE time. Quote

Danpod Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 I read it to see what all the hype was about. The novel kept my attention and I enjoyed it. Quote
borchnork Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 Actually, when I read the book, I was expecting a cheesy movie. I mean... it's awkward high school teenage first love... Of COURSE it can get awkward and cheesy. Quote
TRtrumpet Posted December 18, 2008 Posted December 18, 2008 Lol, I didn't think it was too cheesy, but that's the me. I loved the novel, but I liked the movie in a different way. Quote
borchnork Posted December 18, 2008 Author Posted December 18, 2008 I almost got murdered the other day from my friends because I said I thought the movie was better than the book... Quote
whitewing09 Posted December 19, 2008 Posted December 19, 2008 I thought the movie was funny My friends tell me to read the books but nahh Quote
Keyboard_Countessa Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I've read and enjoyed the books. As for the movie... the first word that came to mind after seeing it was "awkward." After more contemplation, my overall opinion is that it was "so bad it's good" (i.e. funny in places when it shouldn't be, things like that). Quote
whitewing09 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Well, I don't think that I would have understood it if my friend who read it wasn't sitting by me. Quote
