rpd Posted November 25, 2008 Posted November 25, 2008 There better be some John Lennon thrown in there. Quote
radchad Posted December 2, 2008 Posted December 2, 2008 Well at Bluecoats the guard audition was to 'Imagine' by John Lennon. Quote
TX Suh-nare Posted December 6, 2008 Posted December 6, 2008 Who else is excited about seeing the Cadets go back to Bernstein? If they do this show right, this year could be HUGE for them! Quote
ftwdrummer Posted December 7, 2008 Posted December 7, 2008 Agreed, it certainly could be. I personally want them to integrate the whole "classic American music" thing with narration...that's right: I want to see Lincoln Portrait on the field. Quote

Yeah, but Vanguard doing Ballet for Martha and Holy Name doing Bernstein is sort of swinging the pendulum back towards more traditional shows (or so I hope) which I'm DEFINITELY in favor of. So yeah, they could throw some new music out there, but I'll take this where I can get it. Quote
Skippy Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I actually don't care what they play, as long as it's not narrated. Quote
dmbalash Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 Speaking about Holy Name, they posted 2:00 of the show for your enjoyment. http://www.yea.org/site/News2?page=NewsArt...ws_iv_ctrl=1021 Quote

bluebellbrass07 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Did they not already announce that they wouldn't be using narration? Quote

TRUMPet Posted December 23, 2008 Posted December 23, 2008 I heard this weekend from a member from last year that the director said he wasnt adding any narration. I would be suprised to see any narration. Quote
