At Fossil Ridge, we only have 150. You guys are blessed with a lot of people interested in band, we used to, but then a new school opened a few years ago. Now another one is going to open next year. that sucks...we have a 9th grade center gonna be build..and it is gonna be build on our practice field!!! we gonna have a practice field much much further away.. which sucks more and it is not the direction to the band hall or the trailer. There's a school in my district that I'm pretty sure is less than a hundred people. And this is an inner-city school. oh..i see..well i think it is gonna get bigger..soon. Quote

Were getting bigger because we have directors that are better at keeping numbers, at the middle school level as well, than in the past. For us our numbers and boundaries are pretty much set. Quote

Our practice field last year was the practice lot basically right outside of the band hall. It took probably thirty seconds to get there walking very slowly. Now, it's on the opposite side of the school in the front, making it a big hassle for the pit, as we always have to unlock some of the doors, get people to help us, move everything outside from the opposite side of the school, then lock the doors. It takes about thirty minutes usually to get all the stuff outside. Then, some people forget things, like a tambourine. Actually, it's not that bad, you get used to it. lol..that sucks. our practice field got dots at 2006..it pretty new...but they r gonna destroy it..sucks bad. and the new practice field is soooo far away from the football stadium...
