ryan_albert52 Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 According to their calendar, The Woodlands aren't going to the Arlington regional anymore. I really didn't expect them to go to both Houston and Arlington. This also frees up a possible spot in finals at Arlington....but barely eases the tension of that contest! (it's still a pretty ridiculous line up! lol) I'm really looking forward to it. Quote
Danpod Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 If The Woodlands pipes the Amen theme song as pre-show music, I will stand on my chair and testify!!!!! http://www.sitcomsonline.com/sounds/amen.mp3 Quote
ftwdrummer Posted September 21, 2009 Posted September 21, 2009 Danpod, which is worse: the fact that most of the people on here have probably never heard of that show... ...or the fact that I have? Quote

Both! We will call this a one-percenter, seeing that only about one percent of our membership has ever heard of the Sherman Hemsley spin-off. Quote

Hebron had a few other techs from SCV in the past few years as well. Richard Brindley used to tech, although I don't know if he still does. Marched SCV back in the mid 90s I believe. Quote

Still haven't seen the show because I was in charge of guiding another band while you guys were on and our schedule at UIL only allowed us to see like 2 bands, but I can't wait for it! I've heard it's amazing. :] The Plano East Marching Panther Band proudly presents Luminaries. Shooting Stars ("1000 Airplanes on the Roof" by [forgotten..]) The Moon ("Claire de Lune" by Debussy) The Sun ("Septimus and Finale" from the Stardust soundtrack) Drill by Michael Gaines Y'all watch yourselves at DMI, hear? ;] Quote
