UIL Concert and Sight Reading Contest in your area

North Shore Senior High band takes 3 to contest and they made history. All three bands got Sweepstakes and the wind ensemble had tears fall in the auditorium.

The North Shore band has improved in so many ways and i'm proud to say that i'm part of this group. This band has opened a lot of peoples eyes and dropped a lot of jaws. From Going To the State Marching band to Making Sweepstakes is a great accomplishment.

Concert: 1-1-1 Sightreading: 2-2-3

As usual, the sightreading makes no sense musically. We did as much dynamic contrast as possible but that atonal, minor Level 6 varsity 5A piece was dumb....
