2009 DCI Finals Live Results

DCI Finals are tonight! And DCI doesn't allow any kind of live access (theater or web) for Finals, so everyone who isn't there is always just waiting in anticipation for the results to fully come out.

 

So, we are trying out a new provider for our TxBLive service and will be putting it through a trial run with posting results live from tonight's results ceremony.

 

We had some performance issues with last year's service when an immense number of people logged on during various competitions throughout the marching band season and we are hoping that the new provider will actually be able to hold up under the strain. Please help us test out this feature and let us know how it goes.

The new TxBLive went extremely well!

 

While DCI and DCP both went down, we stayed up with a lot of users online and had a lot of good real-time user interaction as well.

 

I really like how the live poll worked and think that's a really cool option.
