dmbalash Posted March 17, 2010 Posted March 17, 2010 http://www.dci.org/news/view.cfm?news_id=d...35-0220c82b5c58 During a scheduled conference call last night, the voting members of Drum Corps International voted 11 to 9 in favor of opening the retractable roof at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis for the 2010 World Championship Quarterfinals on Thursday, August 12. takigan Posted March 19, 2010 Posted March 19, 2010 I haven't been to Lucas Oil yet, so I don't really have a feel for the sound, but I hear the boomy roof is a nightmare for the drums. Maybe having the roof open will help alleviate some of the boominess. Quote
EODrillDesigner98 Posted April 29, 2010 Posted April 29, 2010 I personally dont think its the best thing to have the roof open during Quater-finals. They should test if with other event not championships week. Quote
