2010 DCI Predictions game

In conjunction with the BOA Forums and a few other marching band websites, I thought I could start a DCI Predictions game.

 

There will be a prize at the end of the season for the person that wins. If I win, the person who is 2nd will get the prize.

 

If you want to participate, World Class spreadsheet is attached.

 

You need: Your name, your scores, corps in order, captions and send it back to me at balash@ilmarching.com or dbalash@gmail.com. They both go to the same place. Email the completed file attached below.

 

Scores are due by the Monday before the start of the season, which would be June 14th.

 

Feel free to post below if you will be participating. No limits on the maximum amount of people; however, the more people the play, the longer it will take me to figure out scores.

 

Now on to scoring:

 

-25 points per correctly guessed semifinalist (17 total).

-50 points per correctly guessed finalist.

-100 points per corps guessed in the correct place.

-100 points per corps score guessed correctly.

-100 points per finals caption (Brass, Color Guard, Percussion)

 

Additional bonuses:

-250 additional points for correctly guessing all semifinalists.

-250 additional points for correctly guessing all finalists.

-25 points for correctly guessing the top 3 in order.

-50 points for correctly guessing the top 5 in order.

-100 points for correctly guessing the top 12 in order.

-250 points for correctly guessing the top 17 in order.

-500 points for correctly guessing the top 23 in order.
