Will_Doohit Posted June 25, 2005 Posted June 25, 2005 I've seen Batman Begins twice now. It is an awesome movie. I love how they show his childhood, and him training and everything. The movie is much darker than the old Batman movies. And his voice when he's in his suit is awesome. Also, Killian Murphey is an awesome bad guy. This movie is definitely very high on my favorite movie lists. Quote

I'm gonna wait till it comes out on DVD to watch it. Anyone else have an opinion? I saw Madagascar. You heard right. It's not that great of a movie. Parts of it were funny, like the penguins. But the rest of it was just ok. Also, I heard that Mr. and Mrs. Smith was one of the best movies ever. Quote
thedrumgod Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 I saw Mr. and Mrs. Smith last night, and actually LIKED it somewhat. I went into the movie thinking that it would just be another idiotic summer movie, however the plot line was pretty decent. I didnt feel like I wasted my $8. Quote

I haven't seen the original Longest Yard, so I don't know how to answer that question. And in comparison to other Sandler movies, I thought it was very good. If you liked his older stuff, I think you'd like this movie. Quote
LordGiggles Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 Billy Madison is probably by far the funniest Sandler Movie. The other ones are too good to really rank from there. Quote

LordGiggles Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 I don't know about any of you guys though, but compared to his other works, 50 First Dates didn't seem as funny ( Though it was a good movie, don't get me wrong ) Quote
CHS King Mello Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 in my opinion the new Longest Yard is better. The old one was my favorite movie of all time to. Adam Sandler and Chris Rock work great together. ~>conner Quote

It was just weird to see Sandler in such a serious role. Quote
LordGiggles Posted June 26, 2005 Author Posted June 26, 2005 I haven't seen Spanglish, so I probably should get to that. Quote
GHtubaNja Posted June 26, 2005 Posted June 26, 2005 going overboard = worst sandler movie ever. Quote

Moose Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 My girlfriend dragged me to Bewitched today, and it was terrible. It confused the heck out of me, and It wasn't very "Will Ferrel" Funny. There were a few Will Ferrel jokes, but not much. The only good thing was Nicole Kidman, and I'm not talking about her acting. Quote
LordGiggles Posted June 30, 2005 Author Posted June 30, 2005 I have been let down by alot of Will Ferrel movies. Old School was good, but since that it kind of went down hill. Anchorman had a lot of potential, and it was good, but not as good as it could have been in my opinion. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 i loved anchorman. great movie. i saw war of the worlds last night. it was pretty good. Quote
LordGiggles Posted June 30, 2005 Author Posted June 30, 2005 It doesn't really look like it goes with the book, more like just based on it and using the plot. Is it correct or am I way off because I haven't seen that much of the movie, but i have read the book a few years back. Quote
itsstephenyo Posted June 30, 2005 Posted June 30, 2005 im not sure since i havent read the book yet. i think imma go get it sometime soon tho. the movie intrigued me. Quote
