So I'm sure we'd all like to hear a few words from Mr. Danpod about this season. I don't know about yall, but I miss that voice. I know life gets in the way, but I'm sure your adoring fans would love to get some input. Anyone agree?

I've had to do some serious thinking about how I wanted to approach the Podcast this year. In case you folks haven't heard, I have taken an Assistant Show Coordinator position with USSBA this Fall. I cannot thank USSBA enough for giving me the opportunity to be a part of the marching activity in a more administrative role, which has always been a goal of mine.

 

In the past, I would hit the Record button on my microphone and let loose about whatever was bothering me in the activity. I used to give predictions on placements and rankings. I think that those days are starting to wind down. However, I do feel that the podcast can still contribute to educating its listeners on the activity. With the passing of George N. Parks, I have dedicated myself to rekindling my passion for leadership.

 

There will be podcast up quite soon. Being on field level with these musical athletes has given me a new perspective on the activity. I plan on sharing those experiences with you all. Hopefully, I can tie in the timed wit and marmalade creamcakes that you folks seem to enjoy!
