The 2010 Centennial Marching Festival will be posted later today, will someone please post the bands, and create predictions since I have school till 1pm then have a clinic with forney till 8pm. TY

Looks like another solid contest. I haven't seen the North Forney Band in its' short life, and Newman Smith and the Colony are always solid. I can find 7 locks to finals but the other 3 slots are toss ups because I haven't seen some of these schools

The contest is not very strong but because of it, it gets a lot of chances for up and coming bands to succeed. This is also the biggest I've seen this contest apparently everyone not at BOA San Antonio is here and not Duncanville.

I only saw Poteet from the 20, but their show didn't really impress me all that much? Is it better from the press box? It seems like they didn't have as much power to their sound.

They are 75% freshman and sophmores, and the woodwinds are the power this year. Next year the brass section will be stronger and a year older. Even with this so called lack of power, they still play and march well, and I know you mean what you put well. They will be stronger with more of a brassy sound next year. Trust me, they're my alarm clock...I live across the street
