airons0678 Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Someone had to do it so I thought I'd have some fun... "SEEDS" BASED ON LAST YEAR Quote
bchorn Posted May 17, 2011 Posted May 17, 2011 Anderson and Round Rock both made state last year and both placed in the teens. I believe Flower Mound was an Area Finalist in one of the toughest areas as well. Quote
Anthony V Posted May 18, 2011 Posted May 18, 2011 If you think about who usually starts peaking score wise, and estimating that through out the season, here's how I would guess (based on last year's results. For instance, Richland placed 5th in 2009 at BOA Arlington, but placed 6th in BOA San Antonio, thus beating Hebron, who placed 3rd at BOA Arlington. I'm trying to be as non-biased as possible on Richland though ). Tier 1 (LD Bell, Marcus) 90+ Tier 2 (SFA, James Bowie, Woodlands) 88-90 Tier 3 (CT Johnson, Cedar Park, Hebron, Reagan, Spring, Richland) 86-88 Tier 4 (Churchill, Plano East, Coppell, Keller, Pflugerville) 82-86 Tier 5 (Aledo, Birdville, Mansfield, Round Rock, Flowermound, Haltom, Brazoswood, Colleyville Heritage, Vandergrift, Anderson) 78-82 Tier 5 (Keller Central, Leander, College Park, Akins, Vista Ridge, McNeil, Judson, Westlake, Sandra Day OConnor, MacArthur)72-78 Tier 6 (Those not mentioned above) 72- Quote
clarineticorn Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 I don't want to be Reagan's wedgie again next year We were one place behind them at pretty much every competition this year, and I want to change that! Quote
whitewing09 Posted May 23, 2011 Posted May 23, 2011 Why does everyone always predict Coppell placing in BOA SA finals. It's been YEARS hasn't it? They do well preseason, but their shows always come out more UIL than BOA. Quote
mellopwn1 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 (edited) I totally agree.... Coppell is just not very BOA oriented. Very traditional drill, classic "marching band" tone quality and balance, etc. hold them back in BOA, although not at UIL. I don't think they want to change that though. whitewing09 said: Why does everyone always predict Coppell placing in BOA SA finals. It's been YEARS hasn't it?
