borchnork Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 This is probably the smallest turn out the CMF has seen in a long time. =/. It probably doesn't help that BOA and DMI are the same day. Quote

borchnork Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 ah okay. Still an unusually low turnout! Quote
Frisco_Centennial_Pit Posted October 24, 2011 Posted October 24, 2011 I was told by a band member who's parent is a member of our Boosters that they're expecting more bands to try to register to compete after Area competition, depending on whether or not they make State. though this was secondary information, and I'm not sure how reliable it is, or if they're actually going to allow it. Donezo Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 (edited) Any news on additions to the contest? Possibly Poteet, but I can't confirm that. Edited November 2, 2011 by Donezo Quote
RudeOne Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Possibly Poteet, but I can't confirm that. It is now confirmed on Poteet band's website. Quote
FoobYen Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 Wondering if someone else dropped out because Poteet is scheduled to play at 4:45 which was originally listed as Wakeland's spot....? Quote
Cookie_MonsterSR Posted November 2, 2011 Posted November 2, 2011 So does Poteet or Dripping Springs win? I'm leaning towards Dripping Springs with Poteet close behind them. Regardless its going to be a great competition. Quote

Regardless its going to be a great competition. It will be a great competition and even more fun with Poteet and Dripping Springs going back-to-back at the end of the prelims followed by Centennial with their exhibition. Awesome day to be a band fan! Quote
borchnork Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Dripping Springs. Still first in my opinion. But I'm most excited about the opportunity to just see the show from Poteet this year. I know they won't disappoint. Quote

borchnork Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 Great contest! Loved seeing Dripping Springs, Wakeland and Poteet fighting it out! It was like a mini state! Throw centennial in the mix and the fact that McKinney was first alternate in area B and it was pretty cool. =] Quote
Donezo Posted November 7, 2011 Posted November 7, 2011 I've heard from many sources that Centennial was best in show! I can't wait to see how they do tomorrow. Quote
