Just curious to see if any bands/sections out there have any sort of traditions that they use to get hyped up....

For example, our sax section has their own cheer they do at the end of every rehearsal.

Just wondering. =]

I'm on the tenor line of our drumline, and one of the things we do is just before we perform is alternate putting our hands into the middle of the circle saying "Oners, twoers, threers, fourers, fivers, sixers, seveners, eighters, niners," ending by lifting our hands and saying "TENORS!" Since there are only three of us, 1-6ers is with our hands and 7-9ers is with the plumes on our shakos :)

Cedar Ridge's entire drumline stands in a circle and sings there entire show. Drumline singing their parts is pretty amusing, especially us cymbals who basically just scream when we have a crash.

Haha sounds epic. We did a "sing through" of the show during warm up this week and our piccolo trumpet player has some ridiculously high stuff for a guy to sing lol. It made my day hearing it.

Cedar Ridge's color guard does a little "good luck" chain when we're in line right before we perform. We clank our flag poles together and pass it down the line then back up (:

Tanner, I didn't know y'all did that! That's legit!
