Loudsaxes1 Posted October 23, 2013 Posted October 23, 2013 I go to poteet but I'm just wondering. Ive watched a lot of shows and the only schools I've seen perform like us are Sherman, waxahachie, dripping springs a little bit and, prosper. Are there any other bands marching at 170 Bpm and having 75+ Sets? It just seems like were the only ones that have that style? Quote
Theberrytoner Posted October 25, 2013 Posted October 25, 2013 Lake ridge is marching above 185-190 in both the drum break and closer, this is about the last two minutes from I heard. Quote

Quote Lake Ridge - What in the World (?) - This group is extremely athletic! They are moving at an absolutely incredible pace the entire show and bringing a ton of musical energy while doing all of that flying too. Lots of interesting arrangements of Signs, Rite of Spring, various Holst, etc bring lots of good punchy moments that draw you in. The drumline is just flat out playing the hole show and have a great drumbreak while the rest of the band must have jetpacks on. And the guard! What a fantastic huge guard with amazing athleticism, artistry, and timing. Fantastic work with all of the equipment from huge rifle tosses in traffic to gorgeous flag work. brandonxd 1 Quote
swag Posted October 30, 2013 Posted October 30, 2013 BOSWELL marches their second movement at 196, drum break at 196, and their closer at 176. All of which is done with straight leg. Last week at area they even pulled off a fantastic score of 3 first place votes (qualifying them for state), 2 of which in marching. Quote
