Dynasty Posted October 30, 2005 Posted October 30, 2005 Great, do you happen to have the full finals list? Quote
MisterMan Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 Nope, only the top 4 were announced in finals. Sorry... MisterMan Posted October 30, 2005 Author Posted October 30, 2005 I guess they pulled out, because they were definitely at Sam Houston...lol Quote
PrideOfPearland Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 Thank you MisterMan for your positive review on my band. It was nice to read some positive things on us for a change. (I'm not saying there is negative stuff on here...just other places i've seen negative words). I'm glad you enjoyed our show. Quote
Keyboard_Countessa Posted November 2, 2005 Posted November 2, 2005 I've seen several of those bands on other occasions, but I always enjoy hearing other people's opinions on their performances. I'm also glad to see that Clements won Outstanding Percussion, but that's mostly b/c my former pit instructor works there now, and I bet that made him happy. And plus I found out that another band is doing our show! (College Park--Chronometry) Quote
ttu48 Posted November 6, 2005 Posted November 6, 2005 thanks for the positive comments guys i am hoping our band(college park) will get up and going and be a big competitor in coming years... the woodlands high school-numbers 04-05 pit-glocks The woodlands college park-chronometry 05-06 battery-tenors Quote
ikilledabird39 Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 brandon, you failed, so you cant say that you marched tenors. Quote

Not to be rude, but are you the ranking tenor? I'm just trying to see how much of a parallel there is. Our band was just freshmen and sophomores last year too. Unfortunately, I feel like we did better last year than this year (besides our drumline)... the freshmen overall just aren't quite the same as we were when it comes to work ethic. It's disappointing. Our assistant director did express this one time after coming in from practice... I don't know why they've been worse than us. Maybe we didn't do enough to integrate them... that's probably it, come to think of it. I have not seen any of the upperclassmen generally be socializing with freshmen willingly. Our band is rather divided... it's a sad waste of potential. Quote
ttu48 Posted December 2, 2005 Posted December 2, 2005 the killedabird kid wishes he was as good as me and yes i was center tenor while i was with them Quote
cinco_4_life811 Posted February 10, 2006 Posted February 10, 2006 yeah our french horns were always out of tune, no matter how much we tried to tune them well you actually placed us one higher than we made in finals Quote
