i dont like warcraft 3 because of the heros, but warcraft 2 was an awesome online game.

To me personally, Starcraft has always been the best Real Time Strategy up to this point. It would take alot of skill to program a game of that calibur. I really wish Blizzard would go up to the challenge of making StarCraft 2, instead of all these rumors. It would help the series alot, especially since it is getting old and alot of hackers play on it now, so the experience is decreasing. Though, regardless of what the public demands, we'd be dead before the moved off their baby right now ( WarCraft ) and worked on StarCraft again. It did take them nearly 2 years to release the last D2LOD patch..

isnt the next starcraft game going to be like a first person shooter type game? or is that just a rumor as well.

Your probably thinking of StarCraft Ghost, which is just an RPG where you play as a ghost agent named Nova. Rumor about it started probably in 2001-2002 somewhere, but still no luck. This year was its claimed release year though.

 

I haven't heard the rumor about StarCraft2, all i know is it's just going be new, but of the same format and what not. If it is an RPG, I hope they make it like Battlefield or something, but allowing alot more people to join. Therefor you can actually reinact what you do in the game, but from the first person point of view.

Starcraft. I used to be addicted to the game. Back when I was in sixth grade, I would come home and play it for about six hours straight and go to bed. My addiction broke in the seventh grade. I still play now and then.
