yungmellophone Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 It's too bad most of the top bands from last year are going to the BOA Super regional, but a lot of great bands will get to advance to finals with titans like Hebron and Marcus gone. This competition still promises to be a good one! Quote
Percplayer19 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Richland will not be participating this year but I have always enjoyed this event. Super Regional is more demanding that ever hoping Richland can get back to its place in finals competition, Go Rebels! Quote
Percplayer19 Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I do like this year show. The band really was disappointed at BOA San Antonio last year. Richland always makes finals so it was a shock. The band has had to refocus and made some changes which I am glad. Im looking forward to this year hoping for good things. Quote
Guardgirl27 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Any predictions? I think there are a lot of good bands and it should be really interesting to see how it plays out! Quote
jmj Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Coppell, Haltom, and Westwood are the statebound bands competing at the DMI. Will be interesting to find out how they stack up against each other. TXMarchingMadness87654 1 Quote
Willb123 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 What about Frisco Centennial, they surprised a lot of people at the Tournament of Champions? It was really close between Rowlett, Lake Ridge, and them. Vanessanash5 1 Quote
Willb123 Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Although I'm sure Coppell will win it. Quote
Ramo35 Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Timber Creek did really good at their area competition placing 2nd. Quote

EcstaticPineapples Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 Outstanding Color Guard went to McKinney Boyd, which was pretty ironic as they didn't go to finals. Quote

That was during preliminary awards that they won Outstanding Guard. I don't have the results sitting in front of me, but Westwood won Outstanding Guard in finals. It was a GREAT competition! Loved seeing shows I haven't seen yet and congrats to all bands! We are SO proud of Haltom!! They really put everything out there on the field last night!!! Way to go PRIDE!!! Guardgirl27 1 Quote
