Yeah, that seems like its going to be interesting. I like how they make fun of band geeks as seriously sexually active.. I also like how they said it in Mean Girls.

=P It's so true though. Everytime I enter the band hall there are at least 7 diff couples making out.

OMG! So true. I mean, when you walked into the band hall in the morning, that seemed to be the normal situation. And when you saw them going to the practice room with their instruments, you knew they were doing anything BUT practicing.

our asst. band director warned us about that 2 months ago, "also, ive been observing a lot of PDA (Public Display of Affection) in here and from now on, if i see anything, its an automatic referral. I dont want to see a clue that you and another person from band are dating"

of course everyone ignored him and we yelled "PDA" all week long and he does PDA to his wife all the time...bad example

That's a perfect way of just telling kids to stop doing it. Our drum major did the same thing, she happens to be dating our awesome Bassoon player.

I hear kids yelling at her saying, "NO PDA!"!

And by the way... how on earth could you date someone in your own band program? You see them WAY too much, you've gotten to know them too well, and then you have all those pesky mutual friends.

I can understand dating someone else who is in band because you met them at band camp or something... but not someone at your own school.

"darn it feels good to be a gangster."

That's our tenor line's motto this year... we DID have a really good black kid (no racial offense intended), but he got kicked out after missing about 9 rehearsals. So we ended up with just 2 tenors instead of 3.

lol, that was kinda random.

My trumpet looovvveeesss the rain. I love playin in the rain (Not that I do it very oftnen) Just at football games when it starts raining and the woodwinds have to go back to the bandhall but the brass and perc. can stay and play for the rest of the game.

Currently Wayne has brought his many years of experience to Blast II "Cyberjam" as its musical director, arranger and member of its creative team. Along with fellow arranger Jim Prime, the League of American Theatres and Producers nominated Wayne in the "Best Score" (Orchestrations) category for the National Broadway Theater Awards for the touring production of "Blast".
