Area A Results Breakdown

Does anyone know the exact placement results for each of the bands in all 3 zones? Just curious to see how close (or not) of a call it was for the bands not fortunate enough to advance. Thanks.

I know in the Central Zone the top 3 was:

 

1) San Angelo Central

2) Frenship

 

3) Midland Lee

 

After that, don't know yet.  

 

Over in El Paso it was:

 

1)  Coronado

 

2)  El Dorado

3)  Americas

4)  Socorro

5)  Montwood

 

After that, don't know either.

 

In the East Zone it was:

 

1)  Keller

 

2)  Timbercreek

3)  I would guess Keller Central, but don't know after that.

Man, they really need to rethink the way this Area is set up. I can't fathom anyone looking at the breakdown and thinking it's fair to the kids. I get that the travel is too much for everyone to go to one place, but only letting the first place band go to State from two of these contests is ridiculous. I think it's time for another big realignment.

I wouldn't be surprised if something's in the works.  We'll see I guess, but I agree.
