Wow...that's either a really a good draw or a really bad draw for CTJ at 8:15 am having Hebron and Coppell immediately after. One good thing for those bands is that there will probably be a decent crowd there that early to see all of them plus Marcus coming an hour later. I'm sure a lot of us have been there when that place is virtually empty and it's an absolute barn.

Very very unusual draw. The FloMo people must be thrilled, pinching themselves, etc..

I'm a little bit concerned by CTJ's draw as well, mainly because UIL judges can be a little less forgiving to shows that are a bit more progressive. I really, really hope they don't get lost in the pack. They definitely belong in finals.

I hope that an excellent band program that deserves it wouldn't be judged unfairly but we've all been witness to it before.

This will be my first time at a state marching contest.  Will the crowd be so large that I should purchase tickets now, or can I wait and get them at the stadium?

Having attended the state marching contest for many years, I can say with complete certainty that you can wait and get tickets at the stadium.

Despite their draw I still expect CTJ to be on the rise. Even though they still seem to be more a BOA band, they continue to improve and should no doubt be good enough to make finals, where draw won't be as important.
