The place of sweat-hating players on batteries

In the beginning of our marching season, our drumline had an aversion that was amazing to me; they thought our new instructor wanting us to rehearse outside in class combined with marching after school was enough reason to quit.

The ignorance.

Most of our band that attitude.... esp. the 2nd trumpets and 2nd clarinets (the little kids).

Psh. My perc. directors used to make the pit practice outside during class.

 

Face it: if you're in marching band, you're gonna have to endure the heat and sweat. Even if you don't march.

our pit AND drumline practice outside during class during Marching season they never complained

we(pit) practiced outside like once....but we stopped....because since we have soo much equipment it took half the class period or longer to move everything....but i didnt complain...our drum building has a/c

well its more like the old shop class, well building-garage thing....i dont really know what it is...
