LKendrick Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 There's going to be A LOT of new faces in finals this year. From last time around: Vandegrift Cedar Park Vista Ridge Wakeland Friendswood Connally Dawson Waxahachie Wylie Lake Ridge Two up to 6A, and 3 didn't advance this go around. At least 5 new faces this year. Exciting! Who will they be? Quote
principalagent Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 Centennial and Dripping Springs will almost certainly be back in the mix. Still crazy that the previous cycle's 2nd and 3rd place missed last go-round. Quote
LKendrick Posted October 27, 2015 Author Posted October 27, 2015 Leander, Centennial, and Dripping Springs are my 3 definite picks. The other 2 are probably more wild card type bands. Quote
crossblue82 Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 My guess is all Area D, top 4 of B and Waxahachie. Leander Cedar Park Vandegrift Vista Ridge Dripping Springs Wakeland Frisco Centennial Birdville Aledo Waxahachie I don't know much about any Houston area 5A bands, but I don't feel there are any West Texas or valley threats, at least not to my knowledge. If LISD doesn't sweep it's because Wakeland sneaks into it or Dripping Springs. Euph-oria and band_junkie 2 Quote
Popular Post hippkerr Posted October 27, 2015 Popular Post Posted October 27, 2015 Hard to believe a judge ranked Wakeland 10th in Area B finals. Frisco Centennial and Wakeland should both make state finals and give Area D a run for the for the top spots, SKB, kaylaamccullough and band_junkie 3 Quote
