I wd be stunned if John horn made it to finals. But I'm thinking they might pull I it off. CTJ just finished and that was a weird performance. I think they had some microphone issues ( I'm not sitting in my preferred spot though), & the voice overs did not sound as good as they did the BOA prelims & finals.

 

Did they have to change a lot to confirm to UIL rules or something?!

Is there anyone from Alexander in this forum?  WOW!!  I saw them right before Leander today and was so pleasantly surprised. Not only did their band play great, but I also loved how easy it was to follow the theme.  It is rare to see High School bands spell words on the field and I really liked how Alexander did this to help explain the theme.....especially at the end when they left their lit up shakos on the field.  Well Done Alexander!!

Also, remember that this contest is very technical and the judges will be very picky about who makes it to finals. I have heard many amazing bands today but tone quality, resonance, control, clarity, and mastery of technical difficulty will be left to the experts who are the judges to decide.

I know many aren't seeing prosper in.. But this mamma is certainly keeping her fingers crossed.. ) it's OK. I'm extremely proud of them. )

I think there are a lot of us TW parents worried about this exact thing- first up was a very tough draw.

 

There are so many amazing bands. I wish I knew more to understand the nuances between the scoring better- but it’s so hard to guess who will get to finals.
