Band parent show reveal complete. Director and new assistants named.

I am not at liberty to divulge anything and my head is going to explode!

I can divulge that the 1st payment for 2018 is due tomorrow though.

Gosh RudeDog. That’s just...RUDE! ;)

Come on...just one little hint?

Judging from a video I just watched, cedar park has something a little special this year...

I am going to have to agree with you!  Looks like some dark carnival theme of some sort...

I'm no marching contest judge by any means, but they sound scary good for only three days of working on the music.

Also, does any recognize the music they are playing? It is definitely a departure from their usual repertoire of "standard classical music" (for lack of better terminology), though to be clear, I love whatever they are playing.

Also, I apologize if the video doesn't show on some of y'all's browsers. I'm having similar issues to what LeanderMomma had, and the video doesn't show on my end.

I have to enter links as plain text from my laptop to get them to show up here.

Tomball Memorial presents Clair de Loon, it’s about schizophrenia and includes Claire de Lune, Serenade Schizophrana, and has deep, dark, and twisted chords. A real haunting show! I’m excited!

Sounds interesting! Which competitions will we see y’all at?

We will be competing in Area F and we are a Houston area band that has gone to state for 5A every time for the past 7/8 years whenever we opened. I’m not sure but there was some talk of BOA this year, we definitely have amped up on our sounds even from state last year, but as a new 6A this will be a tough year as we take on the Woodlands and some other strong schools in our area.

I forgot Tomball Memorial was moving up to 6A. They will be one to watch in Area F for sure. Great things happening in that program.

I hope Tomball Memorial can shake up Area F, they have a solid band staff and just got a new drill writer who writes for the Cavaliers too, so something is definitely going right in that program. I agree with you that they could be a force in area F for sure.
