New Bands on The Rise (Up and Coming Bands)

Hey y'all, with all the hype around competition season coming, what are some "dark horse" bands that might rise up towards the top of the Texas bands ladder? With all the attention on the "big" bands in Texas (CTJ, Vandergrift, LISD), I think it would be good to shine some light on some lesser known bands!

Tomball Memorial is new to 6A if the whole copyright problem wasn’t such a big issue I would share some of the sounds they are belting out.

Seven Lakes has definitely been on the rise, SFA going to make a big comeback this year.

Rouse had their coming out party last year at UIL 5A. Another Leander School District Band on the rise. 
Weiss is another Central Texas band that has a chance to become something special.

YES! Rouse has been one of my favorites for a few years now. My friend was a senior in 2016 and that's the first time they really stuck out of the competition. I can't wait to see them this year!

I'd have to give a big nod to Seven Lakes. They keep on making the correct strides and have thoroughly entertaining shows that have a lot of energy in them while simultaneously being accessible to the audience.

I agree - I loved their show - first time I had seen their program and was impressed by their sound
