Finals start at 7:00pm

 

This contest really struggles on 6A state years, which is weird considering its probably the best competition you could ask for to get ready for area. I get that a lot of schools have UIL Region this weekend but enough don't to where this kind of turn out shouldn't be happening. Also, worth noting, schedule has 8 finals spots listed as opposed to the full 9 that are competing in prelims. Not sure if that's a typo or if one of the bands is planning on skipping finals. We'll see, I suppose.

Yeah, I checked the schedule yesterday and wasn't expecting so little. Keller has Macy's Parade dress rehearsal and parent meetings that Saturday so that may be part of their reasoning.

The reason for only 8 in Finals is because Highland Park is unable to attend Finals.

This should be an easy win for Waxahachie. Great practice with all the rain.
