snares Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 LD Bell, Marcus uniforms before their current ones, occasionally Hebron’s uniforms pop especially when they have giant sets that cover the whole field, Vista, RR, and I personally LOVE Keller’s uniforms. Quote
MadisonBandMan1 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Keller central in their fireflies show from 2016. I loved that. Quote
Trumpetman7 Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 Keller central in their fireflies show from 2016. I loved that. That opener was one of my favorites of the year. Gotta love fireflies by owl city. Quote

LHSax Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I've always loved the customization of the Dripping Springs Band. They have a new color every year and they use black bibbers for football games, and whites for competition's. NO ONE does white uniforms like DS does. When DS has been at the top of their game, their visual package SHINES because of those uniforms. Also, a shoutout to the awesome mirror triangles they had back in the day. That look was ICONIC. flutenerdboauil Posted October 31, 2018 Posted October 31, 2018 I would say Coppell has the coolest uniforms hands down Quote
SpartanBandAlum Posted November 1, 2018 Posted November 1, 2018 I wish I could find pictures of Porter’s uniform. It’s similar to RR’s uniform, but in red and with a spartan helmet on the front where RR’s dragon is. Also agree with Leander and Dripping Springs. I’ve always loved Dripping Springs’ white scheme Quote

jetliner Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 I've liked how Hendrickson has unique inserts each season, and also a generic non-show insert for other purposes. Quote
Rudedog34 Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Rumor is Henny's unis will be upgraded soon. Quote
California Boi Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Claudia Taylor Johnson easily. It’s definitely an acquired taste, but there’s an effect these uniforms bring to the field that none other are able to. Last year’s were already phenomonal but now it’s a more vivid color, along with having a more vibrant plume. CTJBandPops 1 Quote
choose_life Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 I'm going to be a homer here. But I'm going to throw Argyle's competition whites in here. The lines are razor sharp, makes the guard and prop colors pop, and elongates the torso. Every marching defect is exaggerated, but precision is rewarded. Quote
DSbandnerd Posted November 3, 2018 Author Posted November 3, 2018 Here are some of dripping springs uniforms. White for competition, black for football games, and the purple was from 2017. Quote
GeekyBandMom Posted November 4, 2018 Posted November 4, 2018 I forgot how much I love Hebron’s. Because pinstripes, it’s subtle, formal, and they’re instantly recognizable. Quote
theotterarjun Posted November 6, 2018 Posted November 6, 2018 I would actually put forward LD Bell's uniforms. They're just....clean. Quote

Also, a shoutout to the awesome mirror triangles they had back in the day. That look was ICONIC. The current DS uniforms pay homage to those uniforms with the triangles that come off the customized colored squares. Those old uniforms if I remember correctly were first gotten in '03 or '04 and lasted until 2014 when they changed. My personal favorite uniform for sure because there is nobody put there with a uniform quite like it. Quote

MarchingBandNerd Posted November 7, 2018 Posted November 7, 2018 I’ve always loved Ronald Reagan’s uniforms. The bright green stripes and plumes look so cool when they’re paired with the darker green turf! You can’t miss that band. Quote
TxDragonmom Posted November 8, 2018 Posted November 8, 2018 Round Rock HS has the most beautiful uniform. Nny14 1 Quote
BanderThanYou Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 An old thread, but do y'all prefer bands that change their uniform every year or bands that keep the same uniform every year? Quote
DeepEllum Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 An old thread, but do y'all prefer bands that change their uniform every year or bands that keep the same uniform every year? Really it depends. Bands like Hebron and Reagan and Marcus that have the same uniform every year are quite iconic and have a really nice brand image, whereas bands like FloMo and CTJ that alter their uniform every year help to enhance every show they have. I think what I like most are bands who change their uniforms every couple of years around their band’s identity and colors to keep it fresh and updated. Quote
MarchingBandLife Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 It really depends. New uniforms are always visually appealing but when a band keeps the same uniform then it kind of keeps the identity of the program. Quote
An Inspirational Pinecone Posted September 10, 2019 Posted September 10, 2019 It depends, really. I like the idea of bands remaining traditional but it's always nice to see change. Bands like CTJ and FloMo have more theatrical shows than bands like Hebron and Marcus, so it makes sense to change their uniforms to fit the show's theme. FloMoParent 1 Quote
