TheHornplayer Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 I'm just catching up so somebody may have already answered, but Weiss is 3A this year. About 170 total on the field. (1900 at the school). This is the first year with seniors. Edit: 162 today Ah I see, So they are in 3A it seems the spot for 2A class champion is now up for grabs since Rouse and Weiss are both out of 2A Quote
Hard Core Band Fan Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Question on flomarching? I just signed up as I saw $12.50/month and figured I'm ok with that and I just can cancel after next month (Similar to ESPN+ streaming service) expect I just got billed $150. Pretty upset as I didn't expect to be getting billed the entire year upfront. IS accurate? Do any of you pay monthly or do all of you pay for the full subscription upfront? *note* I did email customer support about this but I have no idea how long or when they will answer so wanted to get more immediate info from here as it has been like 30 minutes already. The $12.50 per month rate is only available if you subscribe for a year. It's the best deal, really. You get BOA, WGI, and DCI events all for $12.50 month. Quote

Popular Post MadisonBandMan1 Posted November 1, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 1, 2019 Thank you all so much for the comments! It means so much! That was an amazing run. I definitely balled my eyes out at the end of that. lost, HighSchoolBandNerd212, A Testing Trumpet and 2 others 5 Quote
FaultLineBlues Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Thank you all so much for the comments! It means so much! That was an amazing run. I definitely balled my eyes out at the end of that. Sadly, I missed seeing your show in person, but my sister in Cedar Ridge was watching and sent me tons of videos! They absolutely loved your show, and from what I saw, I really enjoyed it too! Quote
Band2013 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 wow these bands are really impressive! Quote
El Gato_01 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Thanks all for the replies. I get it's a good deal IF I wanted to keep using it. Bet legit I only want to watch this Super Regional and thats it. So even $30 would be cool. I hope they can work this out cause ouch, $150 hurts. I guess I should take advantage since I will pay something right? I mean I really want to watch Pioneer too but was afraid to click anything for fear they would be like, "welp. looks like you used it, we are taking you for those $150." gr8n8 1 Quote
lost Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Vista Ridge will be performing at 9:30 AM tomorrow instead of at 5:30 PM today. BandFan59 1 Quote

Band2013 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 John B. Alexander i loved that well done! my favorite concept show so far. Quote
zoomer Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Wow JBA, I have no words. All I can say is that whatever the results are, they should be more than happy with this season. Quote

They have pretty good cuatomer service. I'm prettt sure they will switch it out for the 29.99 for you retroactively. Quote
BlueCircle Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 JBA...hmmm...they gave a fine performance but once the tarp comes out, the show becomes very very messy from an execution and design standpoint. There is just way too much going on! That requiem section was so good though!!! Quote
A Testing Trumpet Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 John B. Alexander. Wow. What a killer performance. Quote

jetliner Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Holy. That JBA show is a beast. Nearly 10 minutes long? I didn't notice if they started late. Quote

There is just way too much going on! That requiem section was so good though!!! Definitly same thoughts I had. 2nd half seems very clustered. But otherwise, amazing job execution wise. What an impactful show! Quote
LostChoirGuy Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Ive never seen a show that is so devoted to a message. You can tell that they are all so passionate about what they are sharing and its really, really moving. I agree that there are aome execution thinga that arent my favorite but I dont want to focus on those right now. JBA should be so proud of all they have accomplished this season and a great performance here today. Quote
principalagent Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 JBA is easily the best show South Texas has done in my entire band lifetime. They’re going to be out tomorrow on performance, but they’re setting the standard for their region from here on out. So so so much to love. Well over half the crowd stood at the end. Best reaction so far today! LeanderMomma 1 Quote
A Testing Trumpet Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Bit too freeform design wise to make Finals for me, but they certainly had the energy to make it. I wouldn't count them out of it. Amazing job! Quote
livonian Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 Vista Ridge will be performing at 9:30 AM tomorrow instead of at 5:30 PM today. That's great! I'm glad they've updated the rules. A few years ago Hendrickson couldn't make their time because of tornadoes, and the rules didn't allow them to plug someone into a break. So they only got to do an exhibition at finals. And looking at your name, the funny thing is Hendrickson's show that year was named Lost. Quote
meursault Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 let's see if Keller got the chance to clean up this closer! love this show so much Quote
