Yes, the rumors are true about the new turf and people falling over. We had 7 people fall over in my band during our performance and I've heard similar stories from multiple other bands like Vandegrift, Westlake, and Bowie.

Pearland was great. I thought there was a bit too much visual dirt to make finals; but we'll see. I really liked the closer.

Pearland is great! If they can nail a design and bring some solid GE in the future, I can definitely see them becoming a finalist band. They are on the brink of a break out year akin to Westwood in my opinion.

I just started watching and missed the first few minutes of Pearland's show.

 

From what I saw though, Pearland was one of the best sounding bubble groups musically that I have heard. Visually they left a bit to be hoped for but I was very impressed with their sound.

Vista Ridge was awesome!!! A few dirty music moments but unless TWHS really kills it, I think Vista might have that last spot in the top half locked up.

Missed Hebron, but Vista was every bit as good as Leander/CTJ from yesterday IMO

The Woodlands' show has matured greatly since I last saw it in Houston. They'll do just fine at Grand Nats. Solid finalist as usual IMO.

I'll tell you what- the woodlands sure isnt keeping things stale this year. I love the commitment by every individual. All of the jumping around and heel clicking makes it seem that they are really enjoying performing the show. It is really hard for me to guess how they will place, but I loved their show.

Love love love The Woodlands show.  Don't know about difficulty or if it's clean, but dang it's entertaining! If you didn't watch on multi-cam - do it!  Those kids' faces are everything!  So much fun.
